Worship Team Minutes: March 5, 2024

Present: Nancy Stark, Sharon Simpson, Pearl Czechan, Pastor Chris Byars

Old Business:
Wednesday evening services in the Fellowship Hall have been well received.
The Prayer Retreat, including the Prayer Room, was also well received. It has encouraged us to do it again, perhaps longer next time.

New Business:
“Becoming”: building a better community and church home.
First Communion classes will be on Sunday, March 17 and First Communion will be celebrated on Maundy Thursday (March 28). We need to get chalices to Gina Patzer for etching.
The Cross Walk will be held at Noon on Good Friday (March 29).
The Good Friday service will again be youth-led with the Confirmation students performing a skit.
We are starting to think of options for Advent services.
There will be a baptism on April 28.
There was a discussion about a possible Rogation Service (blessing for the planting season).
