Pastor Chris opened the meeting with a prayer
Business Addressed:
1. Harvest Fest Recap: The bake sell went well. Laura K, Ruth M, and Jan R all sat at the table. We did even better on sales Sunday morning than we did on Saturday. We’ll see if there is going to be another Harvest Fest next year and decide if we will be a part of it.
2.Veterans’ Day: Rachel provided us with a list and we used the cards from church with the picture of the church on it. Dawn will create a Thank You card to send to OJ’s for sharing the expense of the cards with us. Mel paid $66 and will be submitting for reimbursement. Stats on the cards: 26 names on the list, 3 were unknowns and were removed, 4 were known but we had no address for them, Mel is seeing if he can get contact info for them, 8 were addressed to be mailed out, 11 of them we are planning to have at church. Dawn will keep track of them Sunday. If they are not there, we’ll mail them on Monday.
3.Cantata Performances: Council has asked that we pass a plate instead of having a basket in the back. Wayne has asked our team to take lead on getting that covered. Chris has asked the Worship Team if they will help with it, they will keep us informed. The Byars littles (Harrison, Roslyn, and Harrison) are willing to help with one performance.
