2026 July NL: Stewardship & Evangelism Team Minutes

June 1 at 5:00 p.m.

Present: Mel Reichwald, Darrel Ruege, Ruth Boyd Dawn Byars, Pastor Chris Byars

Mel opened the meeting with a prayer.

Business Discussed

• 4th of July Parade: we have a map of the new route for the year. Darrell will contact Steve to get plans finalized for pick-up and storage of trailer. Dawn will coordinate decorating plans with CYF.
• Ice Cream Social: we are planning to include it as part of the Church Picnic on July 26th.
  • Mel will finalize with Robert Davies.
  • We will put a basket out for donations to start the basement improvement fundraiser.
  • Dawn will create an invite and bring it to the July meeting. We can prep the list during that meeting and have them mailed right after.
    • Chris and Rachel can get an inactive member list for us to go through. Chris mentioned we can get a list from Joyful Noise as well.
• Basement Project: Miles is getting together a joint meeting between Council and Property/Cemetery to get a firm plan in place on how to fix the issues. We will work with them to help raise funds.
• Oconto County Fair: August 25-30.
  • Ruth Boyd checking in with Ruth Milhans to see if she would want to make another cross.
  • Dawn will check with CYF to make sure there will be a S’Mores night again this year. If so, we will send an invite to those that give an address for the cross. We can also have flyers and invites at the table again.
• 4th Sunday Fellowship for June will be the Missions Team. It will be a bit of a bigger deal since they are planning to do some extra support for WRVM (the Mission of the Month).
