March 3 at 5:00 p.m.
Present: Mel Reichwald, Darrel Ruege, Pastor Chris Byars, Dawn Byars

Pastor Chris opened the meeting with a Prayer at the request of Mel.

First order of business was to read and review the minutes from the last meeting.

Old Business Addressed:
Vacancy on the team is being announced in church services. We will continue to run with the three of us, plus Pastor Chris until this can be remedied.
Dawn shared the 40 Days of Kindness printout to be started with the Ash Wednesday bulletin. There are 40 activities to be done throughout Lent. 8 of them are community focused and intended to be a form of Evangelism and Outreach. There are cards being printed to be distributed in the community as our members perform the Acts of Kindness.
It was decided at the All Team meeting that we will keep all future All Team meetings on Tuesdays.
Stewardship and Evangelism will host the first 4th Sunday Fellowship on March 23rd. Mel will bring donut holes, Darrel will bring cookies, and the Byars Family will contribute Cocoa or Apple Cider (a coffee alternative). We will ask that extra coffee be made for Sunday School so that can be used during the Fellowship time. Following teams have volunteered for these months: April – CYF; May – Council; June – Worship Team; July will be the Picnic, so we will see about assigning August – end of the year as we get closer.
Becoming Class is the same day as the 4th Sunday Fellowship. Mel will go to the class to serve as the Stewardship and Evangelism rep.
Ice Cream Social is set to run in conjunction with CYF Team as a Church Fundraiser and an opportunity to boost and advertise VBS. Each VBS registration will be given a free Ice Cream. The Date set is July 13th.

New Business/Action Items:
FOR ICE CREAM SOCIAL
Darrel will look into what it would cost to get a Soft Serve Machine rental from Renk’s.
Pastor Chris will contact Alex Wocking to see about having access to his barrel train for the event
FOR DISCUSSION AND IDEAS
How can we get an active Men’s Ministry restarted at St. John’s? What do we want that to look like?

Meeting adjourned with the Lord’s Prayer.
Next Meeting Date: April 7 at 5:00PM
