2025 October NL: Stewardship & Evangelism Team Minutes

September 8, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

Present: Mel Reichwald, Darrell Ruege, Pastor Chris Byars, Dawn Byars

Pastor Chris opened the meeting with prayer.

• New Business:
  Fair booth was a big success this year. Thank you to everyone that helped at the booth!
• Harvest Fest: start announcing the Bake Sale this Sunday. Proceeds raised will go to the Roof Repair Fund. Dawn will make a poster.
  • We’ll ask Laura and Ruth if they can man the table for part of the day, Darrell & Jan Ruege can take a shift as well.
  • We’ll need to bring tables and chairs
  • Plan for goods to be at the church on Friday (4-6p – Mel will be here) or Saturday morning (8-9a – We’ll ask for someone that could bring any last-minute items over).
• Veteran’s Day: we’ll do the honoring on Sunday, November 9th
  • Kids will pass out the cards
  • We need to get a list and cards from Rachel (would like to have an idea by our next meting on September 29)
  • Will decide details for New Members Sunday at the next meeting. So far, we’re looking at welcoming Ruthie Boyd and potentially 2 others.
